In August 2019, The Music Works (뮤직웍스) decided to disband the group.
After his participation in "Produce X 101" (alongside Kim Kook Heon), the agency decided to form a unit duo, and they released the single "Blurry" in September 2019. And, after MYTEEN disbanded, the duo became an official act under the name B.O.Y, releasing their first EP "Phase One: You" in January 2020. However, his contract expired in April 2021 and he decided not to renew it, disbanding the duo as a result.
