He was discovered at the age of five when with his mother, who was accompanying a friend's child at a model casting session. Jirayu then began acting in several television soap operas, becoming widely noted for his role in the 2005 "Fa Krachang Dao". He was then invited to try for a cinematic role in "King Naresuan".
Jirayu gained popularity after he starred in the film "SuckSeed" and won Daradaiy 'The GREAT Awards' 2011 Best Actor for his role. He won the Best Supporting Actor award at 29th Saraswati Royal Awards for this role in "Seven Something".
