Samurai Sentai Shinkenger is the title of Toei Company's thirty-third entry in its long-running Super Sentai Series of Japanese tokusatsu television series. It premiered on February 15, 2009, the week following the finale of Engine Sentai Go-onger, and ended on February 7, 2010. It joined Kamen Rider Decade as a program featured in TV Asahi's Super Hero Time programming block, and following Decade's finale it aired alongside Kamen Rider W. Its footage is being used for the 2011 American series Power Rangers Samurai. Aiba was a former member of the disbanded three-men streetdancing group called Brights. The other two members included Koga Atsushi and Takuya, who would also happened to later play Akutagawa Jiro in Tenimyu with Aiba. The group had to break up because Aiba had to join Avex (the agency he's currently with) after he won in the Junon Boy contest.
After his work in Tenimyu, Aiba still continues to work as a stage actor, as well as act in several TV dramas. In 2007, he played the title role in the musical Pippin, sharing the role with his Tenimyu predecessor, J-pop singer Kimeru. Since 2008, he is also one of the star actors in the TV drama Tadashii Ouji no Tsukurikata (How to Create the Ideal Prince) along with former Tenimyu cast member Yanagi Kotaro, who plays the lead role.

Takanashi's career as actress began when she starred in the 2008 film adaptation of the Japanese novel "GOTH" as one of the lead characters, Morino Yoru. Takanashi received her first starring role in TBS renzoku dorama "Houkago Groove". Subsequently, she appeared in NHK Asadora "Hanako to Anne" as Daigo Ayako, friend of Hanako. Takanashi has been a regular model of the fashion magazine "andGIRL" since February 2017.
On January 20, 2018, Takanashi Rin announced her engagement with Urawa Red Diamonds and Japan's National Football Team defender, Makino Tomoaki, on her Instagram. The couple submitted their marriage registration on February 9, 2018 and held their wedding reception on December 26, 2018.
