In 2016, he released "Inferiority Complex" featuring former GFriend and current Viviz member Eunha and the next year he released his first mini-album, "Notebook" while still promoting and touring with Block B.
Park dropped out of Hwanil High School to study abroad in the United States and New Zealand Later passing the High School Proficiency Test, he enrolled in the Department of Theater and Film at Inha University. He is part of Mensa International due to his high IQ and in 2015 he was selected as a fixed cast member of the show "Problematic Men".
In 2019, Park was involved in two controversies after accusing 6 different artists of chart manipulation. He was sued for defamation and fined $4,000 USD in September 2020. That same month, he was accused by an anonymous source of bullying special needs students back in middle school. Although he apologized, it was discovered later that an executive from the agency of one of the artists Park accused of chart manipulation was the one who publicized it.
