Ichinose Hotaro is entrusted with the Gotcha Driver to recollect the Chemies. If resonated with a good heart, Hotaro can fuse with them to become Kamen Rider Gotchard. However, Chemies influenced by human malice can turn into monsters called Malgam. This story explores the nature of good and evil as Hotaro tries to collect them all and prevent the world's destruction.
Matsumoto auditioned for the magazine Nico☆Petit and debuted as a model. After graduating from the magazine, she became active on various social media platforms while joining Seventeen magazine as a model.
Matsumoto watched Kamen Rider OOO as a child and cites Ankh to be her favorite character. With her brothers, she also watched Kamen Rider Den-O, Kamen Rider Kiva, Kamen Rider Wizard, and Kamen Rider Gaim.
