In 1973, with the desire to engage in a non-rigid and flexible profession, Felix Lok Ying Kwan enrolled in the third batch of the Shaw Brothers Film Training School and signed a contract as a basic actor. However, due to insufficient workload, Shaw Brothers terminated his contract prematurely in 1974.
In 1975, he applied for the fifth batch of the TVB Artistes Training Class. After graduating in 1976, he officially joined the television station.
In 1995, Lok and his wife briefly immigrated to Vancouver, Canada, but after a few months, they decided not to assimilate into local life and returned to Hong Kong.
In early 2019, during a heart checkup, doctors diagnosed Lok with kidney stone problems, requiring him to undergo two surgeries. Since then, he reduced his workload and focused on recuperation.
