Xie Yuan was a Chinese actor from Beijing. He made his debut in 1981 with the movie "Ma Qiang a New Soldier" (新兵马强). During his career, he won numerous awards, such as the Best Actor at the Golden Rooster Award in 1989, the Best Supporting Male Actor at the Hundred Flowers Awards in 1995.
