Wazaki Shunya was a Japanese actor from Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture. He graduated from Hiroshima Prefectural Kure Miyahara High School. Wazaki joined Toei in 1957 and has appeared in many historical films produced by Kyoto Studio. He transferred to Shochiku in 1966 but became freelance in 1969, and since then has been active mainly in TV dramas and theatrical performances.
