He is the brother of Uehara June from the Japanese-Korean group, ORβIT. He can speak in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, English, Filipino, and Thai. He used to be a trainee in Korea. He is a trainee under Diwon Media. He attended Waseda University School of International Liberal Studies.
