Tammy Chen is a Taiwanese actress who began her career in 2001 after participating in the variety show Guess Guess Guess. She gained prominence by appearing in Jay Chou's music video "Tornado" and signed with Dorian Management, which marked her entry into the entertainment industry. Chen was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and attended Kaohsiung Municipal Chien Chin Junior High School and Kaohsiung Municipal Siaogang Senior High School. She pursued a degree in Textile Design at Fu Jen Catholic University, graduating in 2002.
