Richard Ng was a China-born Hong Kong actor. Educated in England, he is known for playing numerous comedic roles. Richard made his acting debut in Michael Hui's "The Private Eyes," but it wasn't until he began collaborating with Sammo Hung the Lucky Stars series in the 1980s that his career really started to take off. Before long, he recieved his own spin-off series of films alongside John Shum called Pom Pom. Richard is the father of actor Carl Ng, with whom he appeared in several movies.
