Jung You In is a South Korean swimmer. She graduated from Changdeok Girls’ High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Sports Application Industry from Yonsei University. She started swimming when she was 5 years old and two years later she joined an elite swimming academy focusing on freestyle and backstroke before being introduced to the team relay. From 2010 until 2012, she won multiple medals in the high school division of the National Sports Festival before moving to the main division in 2013, where she won medals in several disciplines every year until 2019. The events were canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in the Olympic trials she finished 2nd in the 100m freestyle but the South Korean Olympic Committee decided not to bring her to the 2020 Summer Olympics. SBS hired her as a swimming analyst for the Olympics in Tokyo that were delayed to 2021 and she provided accurate commentary and earned positive reviews for her work.
