Jung Chae Yeon, born in Suncheon, South Jeolla Province, is a South Korean actress, singer, and former member of MBK Entertainment's girl group, DIA. She graduated from the School of Performing Arts Seoul. She was ranked 7th out of 101 contestants on Mnet's survival show, Produce 101, and thus chosen to be a part of the girl group, I.O.I.
