Jay is the oldest member of the South Korean boy band iKON. He is the leader, Main vocalist and Lead dancer. He debuted as a solo artist in July 2023 with his LP "Blue Moon", focused on RnB sounds. iKON debuted in 2015 as a seven-member group, but in 2019, the former leader left the band, leaving Jay as the new leader, according to his agency's profile in Japan and Mnet. On December 30, 2022, all members of iKON ended their contract with YG Entertainment after 7 years, and on January 1, 2023, all members of iKON signed with 143 Entertainment.
