Jay Chou is a Taiwanese singer, actor, songwriter, and producer born in Linkou, Taipei, Taiwan. He debuted in 2000 with his first music album "Jay". When he was 14 years old, his parents divorced, and he lived with his father as his guardian. When he turned 18, he chose to live with his mother. From a young age, he displayed a strong interest in music and enjoyed imitating singers, actors, and performing magic tricks. He started learning the piano at the age of 3. In junior high school, he attended Jin Hua Junior High School. During this period, his parents decided to divorce after years of disagreements, which greatly impacted his temperament. Apart from music, he had a passion for basketball and even joined the basketball team during junior high school. He attended the first class of the music department at Tamkang Senior High School, a private high school in Taipei County. Fortunately, Tamkang Senior High School had just established a music department, so he enrolled there. He majored in piano, laying a solid foundation for his future music career. However, his academic performance was not satisfactory, and he did not pass the university entrance exams upon high school graduation. Additionally, due to suffering from ankylosing spondylitis, he was exempted from mandatory military service according to Taiwan's conscription system. His first appearance on stage was in August 1997 when he served as a piano accompanist for a high school classmate participating in the TVBS-G talent show "Super New Talent King." In 1998, he released his first original song titled "Three Nights Three Days," which was performed by Jacky Wu. On June 23, 2005, he made his debut film appearance as the male lead in "Initial D," officially entering the film industry. In 2006, he co-founded the trendy fa Watch drama online for free.
