Hariu Yuji is a japanese director and writer born in Okayama. He started his filmmaking career in the creative department of MTV Networks Japan as a music-related content director. He works for various types of MTV shows as a director for 5 years. In 2008, he was awarded the Rocket Award at the PromaxBDA Awards, which is a global creative competition for broadcast/network channels. And 2010 through 2012, he was in charge of the chief creative director for MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARD JAPAN.
