Seo Ji Yeong, known professionally as Ha Ji Yong, is a South Korean comedienne and actress. She graduated from Daegu Hyehwa Girls' High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Theater and Film from Seoil University. She made her debut in 2003 as part of the 18th open recruitment for comedians at KBS, appearing in some segments of "Gag Concert". However, she discovered her passion for acting and quit the show after a few years.
