Ellen Chan is a Hong Kong actress who has appeared in a number of Hong Kong film productions. From 1985 to 1992, she performed in a lot of movies and some TV series, starring roles often eluded her though she had many fans. In 1993, in order to try and break through in her performing arts career, she took her first category III film "Dangerous Love" and sang the theme song "Meng Liren" in the movie.
