Tasogare Yusaku (2023)

Kitami Yusaku is a middle-aged actor. Nothing fancy: he lives alone in a small apartment and has a very normal life made of waking up, cooking breakfast, going to work (small parts - he's the typical "byplayer", as they're called), coming home and falling asleep in front of the TV. This simple routine is interrupted, every now and then, by fleeting encounters with various people (a colleague asking for advice, a journalist interviewing him, a former classmate and captain of his high school baseball club visiting from the countryside, an old diva from the Golden Age, his ex-wife, etc.) with whom he ends up sharing a meal and more often than not getting a little bit of heartache in the process.
