Yasuo Baba is a Japanese production company owner, writer, and film director. He is the president of Huichiye Productions (Setagaya-ku, Tokyo). He was born in Tokyo. His maternal grandfather was an architect Koji Fujii . He founded Hoichoi Productions with classmates at a school at Seikei University, issued doujinshi magazines and produced 8 mm movies. After graduating from university he worked at Hitachi , Ltd. and started serializing the four-panel comic book "Kimagure concept " at Manga Magazine · Big Comic Spirits ( Shogakkan ) in 1981 ( Showa 56) belonging to the company's advertising department.
