Kim Yoon Kyung, known professionally as Kim Min Hee and also as Yeom Hong, is a South Korean actress turned singer and broadcaster. She graduated from Sangmyung Girls' High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Theater and Film from Dongguk University. She made her debut as a child actor at the age of 6 with a role in the 1978 MBC drama "Spring Rain". She then got a role in the 1980 KBS daily drama "Daldongne", where she began gaining popularity, but that became a burden later in her career as she could not break out of the image she had as a child and despite earning an acting degree in college, her adult career suffered as a consequence. She earned a role in the 1996 sitcom "Dad is the Mayor", but later she could only get comedy roles and occasionally appeared in supporting roles in dramas.
