Shokichi is a Japanese urban-pop singer, dancer, and actor. In July 2006, he participated in the EXILE VOCAL BATTLE AUDITION 2006 ~ASIAN DREAM~, which was ultimately won by TAKAHIRO. After losing out, he enrolled in Exile's dance academy EXPG. In 2007, he was chosen to join Nidaime J Soul Brothers. On March 1, 2009, he joined EXILE with the dual role of vocalist and performer.
