Shi Ke is a Chinese actress born to a family of intellectuals in Zhijiang of Hubei Province. She graduated from the Central Academy of Drama in 1989. Her debut appearance in 1988 as the heroine in the drama "Killer Love" was well-received. In 2012, Shi was awarded the "Romanian Film Festival Best Actress" for her performance in "UFO in Her Eyes". In 2017, she won the Seventh International Drama Academy Award for Best Lead Actor for "Yinding Bridge" and the First Chinese Drama Festival Best Actress Award for "Desire Under the Elms".
