Ohki Minoru, born in Osaka, was a Japanese actor. After serving as a lighting assistant at the Nikkatsu Tamagawa Photo Studio for 10 years, he became an actor at the recommendation of actress Kogure Michiyo. He made his movie debut in 1951 and since then he starred in many Shochiku works as a hard-line second actor. Since the 1960s, he was active mainly in Toei, playing various unique roles from the second quasi-leading role to villains, while in the 1970s, he expanded his activities to TV dramas in profound supporting roles.
