Nakamaru Yuichi is an actor and J-pop singer, born in Tokyo, Japan. He's an active member of the J-pop band KAT-TUN and the oldest of the group. He joined Johnny's Entertainment in November 1998. In 2001, Yuichi joined KAT-TUN from its formation, debuting on March 22, 2006. He and bandmate Koki have formed a comedic duo, TaNaka (Tanaka + Nakamaru). On June 23, 2023, Yuichi made his debut as a manga artist in the August issue of youth manga magazine "Gekkan Afternoon."
