Moon Bin was a South Korean singer and actor, best known as the vocalist and lead dancer of the boy group ASTRO, which debuted on February 23, 2016, under the label Fantagio. Moon Bin began his career as a child model in 2004, influenced by his mother. He appeared in a Samsung commercial during his early years. In 2006, he gained recognition for his appearance in TVXQ's "Balloons" music video. He also participated in Fantagio iTeen's auditions in 2012. He attended Hanlim Multi Arts High School, graduating from the Practical Music program. On November 12, 2019, Moon Bin took a temporary hiatus due to health issues, returning on February 14, 2020, during a Vlive broadcast with the other ASTRO members. He later formed a sub-unit with bandmate Yoon Sanha, debuting as "Moonbin & Sanha" on September 14, 2020, with their EP "In-Out".
