She made her debut in the South Korean girl group Hello Venus on May 9th, 2012 with the title track "Venus" from their mini-album Venus. After the contract with Hello Venus expired, she renewed her contract with Fantagio Entertainment and continued to pursue an acting career with the new stage name Lee Hwa Kyum.
