Lee Hong Ki is a South Korean singer, actor, musical actor, soloist and member of FT ISLAND(FT아일랜드). He graduated from Seongji High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in information and communication studies from Kyung Hee University. He enlisted for his mandatory military service on September 30, 2019, and was discharged on April 18, 2021. He first appeared on TV in a 2001 episode of "Love On The Air Season 1" before making his official debut as a child actor in the 2002 series "Magic Kid, Ma Soo Ri" (매직키드 마수리). He also earned a role in the musical "A Midsummer Night's Dream."
