Lam Kau was born in 1923 in Guangdong, China. As it turns out, he had an incredible career and has appeared in hundreds of films. In 1950, his first year, he appeared in 19 films alone. He was one of Wong Fei Hung’s assistants in many of the Kwan Takhing films of the 50’s and 60’s. In the 1960’s he established his own drama school. He died on October 30, 2009 in Hong Kong, China.
