Ryo Katsuji, born in Tokyo, is a Japanese actor. He graduated from Horikoshi High School. He won the 29th Japan Academy Awards as Best Newcomer for Aegis (2006). He married actress Maeda Atsuko in July of 2018 after co-starring in the drama 'Dokonjo Gaeru' (2015) and movie 'Taberu Onna' (2018). They had a son in March of 2019.
