Jung Dong Won is a South Korean singer and actor. He is enrolled at the Seoul Performing Arts High School, focusing on Applied Music. He made his debut as a trot singer on December 18, 2019 with the EP "Miracle". He is widely known for appearing as a trot prodigy in "Korea Sings" and competing in the survival show "Mr. Trot Season 1", where he placed 5th. He made his acting debut in 2021 with roles in the movie "Goosebumps" (소름) and the drama "Never Give Up" (구필수는 없다). In January 2024, he re-debuted as an idol singer under the stage name JD1 with the single "Who Am I". He is currently represented by ShowPLAY Entertainment.
