Im Young Min was the leader, rapper, vocalist, dancer and producer of AB6IX and the duo MXM under Brand New Music. He also participated in the survival show Produce 101 season 2 along with Lee Daehwi, Park Woojin and Kim Donghyun. He was eliminated on episode 11 with the ranking of 15th. He was caught driving under the influence back in May 2020. On June 8, 2020, he officially left the group AB6IX following his drunk driving (DUI) incident.
