Choi Soo Young is a South Korean idol singer, actress, dancer, spokesmodel, TV presenter, and RJ, currently under Saram Entertainment. She is a member of the girl group Girls' Generation. She was a part of the short-lived Korean-Japanese singing duo, Route θ, during 2002 in Japan. After returning to South Korea in 2004, Soo Young eventually became a member of the girl group Girls' Generation in 2007. She has been dating actor Jung Kyung Ho since 2012. In October 2017, she left SM Entertainment although she remains as a member of Girls' Generation. She joined Echo Global Group and released her first solo single "Winter Breath" in 2018, before moving to Saram Entertainment in May 2019.
