Chan Hung Lit was a Hong Kong actor. Although his family is from Shanghai, he was born in Hong Kong. His brother is actor Chen Hao. He began his film career after graduating in the second of the Shaw Brothers’ actor training course. He signed with Shaw Brothers in 1964 and made his debut in "Come Drink with Me" as one of the villains. He left the Shaw Brothers in 1971. He set up a film production company with his brother Chen Hao and produced several well-known films. He died of a heart attack on November 24th, 2009, while filming the TVB series "Off Pedder".
