BM is a Korean-American rapper born in Los Angeles, California, United States. He is a member of the co-ed group KARD under DSP Media. He trained for four and a half years, and DSP Media planned to debut BM and J.seph as a hip-hop duo, but this was changed later on. KARD officially debuted on July 19, 2017, with their song "Hola Hola". He made his debut as a solo artist on June 9, 2021, with the single "Broken Me".
